RizqGuard Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using RizqGuard ("the App", "we", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Shariah Educational & Informational Purpose

RizqGuard provides automated calculators, customizable local Nisab thresholds, and categorization systems designed in accordance with classical Islamic financial jurisprudence. The App is provided for educational, budgeting, and organizational purposes only.

3. Subscriptions & Google Play Billing

RizqGuard offers an optional premium subscription tier ("RizqGuard Premium") providing encrypted multi-device cloud synchronization:

• Google Play In-App Billing: All subscriptions and digital transactions are processed securely through Google Play Billing. Payment is charged directly to your Google Play account upon confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the specified interval (monthly at $2.99 or annually at $28.99) unless auto-renewal is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle.
• Managing Subscriptions: You may manage, pause, or cancel your subscription at any time via Google Play Store > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.
• 48-Hour Refund Policy: Standard Google Play refund policies apply. You may request a refund within 48 hours of purchase directly through Google Play's standard refund portal.

4. Zero-Knowledge Encryption & Cryptographic Responsibility

RizqGuard utilizes client-side Zero-Knowledge End-to-End Encryption (E2EE) with AES-256-CBC and PBKDF2 key derivation. Your raw ledger entries are transformed into encrypted envelopes on-device before any synchronization occurs.

Your Custodial Responsibility: Because RizqGuard adheres to true zero-knowledge privacy, we hold no mathematical or administrative backdoor to decrypt your cloud records. If you lose access to all authenticated devices without maintaining an exported backup key, we cannot recover or decrypt your financial data.

5. Account Deletion & Absolute Data Ownership

You retain full, unconditional ownership of all financial and personal data entered into the App. You may permanently and irreversibly delete your account, local device databases, and all remote encrypted cloud records at any time via Settings > Delete Account.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RizqGuard and its maintainers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from data loss, exchange rate inaccuracies, hardware failure, or third-party network outages. Foreign exchange market prices and gold valuations are provided for convenience and should be independently verified prior to significant commercial transactions.
